Job Summary We are seeking a Human Resources Representative / Customer Service Representative to serve as a key point of contact for both employees and customers. This role involves handling employee relations and HR functions while also supporting customer service operations, including order entry, invoicing, and client communications. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and professional, with a friendly and service-focused approach. Human Resources Responsibilities Create job descriptions and post openings to job boards Screen candidates and coordinate interview scheduling Manage onboarding and orientation for new employees Initiate benefits enrollment for new hires and facilitate changes to and termination of benefits Review timecards for missed punches and approve time-off requests Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits and employment matters Review, maintain, and update the employee handbook and required employment postings Coordinate workers’ compensation claims Provide backup support for payroll processing Customer Service Responsibilities Answer and respond to phone calls and emails Enter customer orders and process returns Assist with accounting functions, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and merchant services Perform general administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and filing Support repair, exchange, and return processes Collaborate closely with Sales, Assembly, Repair, and Shipping departments Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction Create and maintain customer data files Develop in-depth knowledge of MTI Dental products and services Create, initiate, and track marketing campaigns Compensation & Benefits Pay $20 - $30 per hour, depending on experience Medical, dental, life, and disability insurance Paid vacation and sick time Matched SIMPLE IRA retirement plan Onsite position Requirements Qualifications and Skills High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Minimum of 2 years of human resources required Customer service experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Marketing experience or knowledge is a plus but not required Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office; QuickBooks experience preferred Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks, calls, and responsibilities throughout the day Ability to perform additional duties as assigned Physical Demands and Work Conditions Ability to lift and move objects weighing over 40 pounds Standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and visual acuity required Ability to work extended hours and stand for long periods during vendor shows
