The HR Specialist is responsible for ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires while maintaining compliance and accuracy in all employee documentation. This role emphasizes auditing processes to guarantee adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage the full onboarding lifecycle for new hires—from pre-employment requirements through their first 90 days. Ensure a consistent, high-standard onboarding experience across departments and locations. Audit HR operations processes and documentation on an ongoing basis, including areas such as 401(k) administration, EEO/EEOC reporting, employee files, and compliance obligations. Conduct regular audits of employee records and onboarding documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to legal and internal requirements. Maintain up-to-date employee information across HR systems and ensure data integrity across platforms. Partner with hiring managers and HR team members to support new employees and resolve documentation or process discrepancies. Track onboarding metrics and milestones, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend enhancements to efficiency, compliance, and employee experience. Ensure timely completion of all onboarding tasks, including documentation, benefits enrollment, systems setup, and required trainings. Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires, offering guidance and support throughout the onboarding period. Stay current on employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). 4–10 years of experience in HR, with a focus on onboarding and compliance auditing. Ability to be onsite 5 days per week in Dallas office. Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in HRIS systems (UKG preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with auditing tools is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
