Description

1111 Main St, Kansas City, MO 64105, USA
It starts with our culture …
Common sense has never been common.
If it were, the world would be a different place. Things would run smoothly and on time. People would do what they say and say what they do. Everything would be fair, without all the small talk. And banks would only sell you what you need. When a banker looked at a client, they wouldn’t just see a number, they’d see a dad or a mom or a graduate or a business owner. Our Bankers understand the complexities of people’s lives and offer simple solutions.
That’s the basics of Relationships. Fairness. Simplicity®. When you choose our Company, you have an opportunity to make an impact beyond the walls of our buildings.
We have a long-standing commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion. Through our banking relationships, investing, grants, and volunteerism, NBH Bank promotes the growth, revitalization, and sustainability of the communities we serve. We believe that these are important elements in building and sustaining a successful organization and a positive, results-driven culture. We strive for all of our associates to feel welcome and empowered at work.
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries and respond to phone calls and e-mails regarding miscellaneous HR/benefits/recruiting/employment verification inquiries. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including day-to-day administration and management for the Human Resources team including but not limited to processing/updating data including record keeping into the human resources management system (HRMS) database and other file keeping systems. You will be responsible for verifying all forms and processes are completed and all actions taken or requested are consistent with the Bank’s policies and procedures. Additionally, Human Resource Coordinators are expected to provide support in the resolution of general payroll and benefits questions, coordination of the pre-employment process, events such as onboarding, orientation, offboarding, recognition, community activism, submission and approval of invoices, and assistance with various other projects and duties. The ability to build a great rapport with clients, associates, and vendors is essential. A critical expectation is to treat others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
This job requires an analytical, disciplined, and organized thinker. The job demands careful, thorough, and accurate behaviors. It can involve the critical analysis and solving of technical problems involving facts, processes, and complex systems or things. The job will require someone who will speak factually and specifically in talking about matters related to the job. The work will require a conscientious person who is comfortable with and willing to have a thorough working knowledge of processes and expectations. This job often entails the precise execution of exact details, working within set standards, tolerances, or limits. When the job requires making decisions, such decisions may often be made independently, and with a take-charge attitude. The job requires a comfort with working alone rather than with a team, although work outputs may be integrated with that of others. Most, if not all, work will be completed by the incumbent rather than be delegated to others.
All associates are expected to maintain current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies and procedures related to the position, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements.
