The Advocacy & Resource Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented professional to join our Human Resources team as an HR Specialist II. This full-time position plays an important role in supporting day-to-day HR operations, with a focus on administrative and clerical tasks related to the hiring process and general department support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with tracking and processing employment-related documents
  • Coordinating and communicating with staff and departments
  • Maintaining accurate records and files
  • Supporting compliance with agency policies and deadlines
  • Performing general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Technology, or a related field preferred
  • Two (2) years of office experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; familiarity with database systems a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must possess a clean and valid New York State Driver’s License
