About the job


Job PurposeResponsible for supporting the full spectrum of Human Resources activities for Nanofilm AM Germany, including recruitment, payroll administration, HR operations, employee relations, compliance, and HR projects. The role acts as a key HR contact for employees and managers, ensuring efficient HR processes, compliance with German labor regulations, and alignment with Corporate HR policies and practices.

  • ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer preparation, onboarding, and recruitment administration.
  • Coordinate monthly payroll processing with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration, statutory compliance, and proper record maintenance.
  • Administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, probation confirmation, employment contract preparation, employee transfers, employee changes, and offboarding activities.
  • Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and HR data, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and local statutory requirements.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, leave management, attendance tracking, insurance administration, and other HR operational activities.
  • Support employee relations matters by responding to employee and manager enquiries, providing HR guidance, and assisting in the resolution of workplace issues.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting, annual performance reviews, talent discussions, and employee development initiatives.
  • Coordinate training and development activities, employee engagement initiatives, and onboarding programs to support employee growth and organizational effectiveness.
  • Support local and regional HR projects and initiatives, including HR process improvement, policy implementation, system enhancements, organizational changes, employee engagement programs, and continuous improvement activities to enhance HR effectiveness and employee experience.
  • Develop, review, and update HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, guidelines, and related documents to ensure alignment with business requirements and applicable local employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitor changes in local labour laws, statutory requirements, and HR regulations, and assess their impact on the organisation. Recommend and implement necessary changes to HR policies and practices accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with internal HR policies, local legislation, statutory requirements, and company standards, and proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
  • Works Council / Employee Representative Interface - Support consultation, communication, and administrative activities involving employee representative bodies, works councils, or equivalent employee forums where applicable.
