Description This position provides operational HR services whiles supporting organizational governance and Board administration. The role is responsible for day-to-day HR functions—including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance—while also dedicating a portion of time to support governance activities. The position requires discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to manage confidential information across both people’s operations and corporate governance functions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field preferred. • Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources with demonstrated experience supporting executive leadership and governance activities. • Strong working knoweledge of federal and Hawaii employment laws and HR compliance. • Experience supporting Boards of Directors, Trustees, senior leadership, or corporate governance processes strongly preferred. • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems; Microsoft Office Suite, and document management platforms. • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
