Overview Shift: Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-4:30PM The Human Resources Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the Human Resources department and contributing to the overall success of UnityPoint Health. This position helps ensure HR operations are efficient and effective by providing a wide range of human resource services, including transaction processing, compliance monitoring, recordkeeping, employee relations, and employment services. Responsibilities Acts as liaison for employees and AskHR group regarding Benefits, Payroll and Leaves Maintains EverCheck for tracking required licensures and certifications in order to stay compliant with state and federal guidelines, notifies managers for timely follow-up with their staff Runs weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and as requested reports from Lawson, PowerBI, Sharepoint and Compensation reporting. Supports new team member orientation for new employees Processes ID badges and parking permits; responsible for tracking changes. Work with recruiters to maintain staffing plans for assigned positions in order to present a high quality and diverse talent pool in a timely and cost effective manner. Responsible for references, background checks, and new hire paperwork and on-boarding is completed in a timely manner. Performs exit interviews and gathers feedback from managers and keeps accurate records related to each candidate considered. Provides departmental support which includes primary point of contact for front desk coverage, miscellaneous project support, and assistance with employee file administration, and I9 audit/reconciliation. Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, business or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an HR role/department, with a strong focus on HR processes, procedures, and overall customer service and service delivery required. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs.
