TITLE:                Human Resources Intern  DEPARTMENT:            Human Resources POSITION STATUS/HOURS:      Summer 2026 limited-term position (Average of 20 hours/week over 12 weeks) with varying shifts between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m Monday-Friday. Flexible hours to meet the needs of the Intern and GRHC. Non-benefit eligible. JOB SUMMARY: HR Intern responsibilities include updating our employee records with new hire information, screening resumes and scheduling interviews. Preparing new hire packets, reference checking, education verification, and obtaining third party documentation for licenses, certificates and memberships. The HR Intern would also complete clerical functions such as filing and answering phone calls. Duties include but are not limited to: •    Prepare job postings and post job ads to website and social networks •    Screen resumes for open positions •    Collaborate with hiring managers •    Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates •    Conduct reference checks •    Assist with conducting interviews •    Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation •    Assist with termination checklist and duties •    Complete verification of licenses and certifications •    Address employee queries as needed •    Assist Human Resources department with special projects •    Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Student currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources. Basic understanding of full-cycle recruiting. Organizational skills. Outgoing professional attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to maintain confidential information. Experience with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.  HOW TO APPLY: Candidate offered employment will complete criminal background check and health requirements including a urine drug screen.
