About the Role: The Human Resources Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the HR functions within the organization to ensure a productive, compliant, and positive work environment. This position is responsible for managing HR staff, coordinating recruitment and onboarding processes, and implementing employee relations strategies that align with company goals. The supervisor will also ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies, mitigating risks related to compliance and employee grievances. Ultimately, the Human Resources Supervisor drives HR initiatives that contribute to employee satisfaction, retention, and overall operational excellence. Minimum Qualifications: * Experience in human resources, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role. * Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices applicable in the United States. * Proficiency with HR information systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage employee relations and team leadership. Preferred Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. * Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR. * Experience working in a fast-paced or multi-site organizational environment. * Familiarity with talent management software and applicant tracking systems (ATS). * Demonstrated ability to lead change management initiatives within HR. * Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting related to HR metrics. Responsibilities: * Lead and supervise the daily activities of the HR department, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. * Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires. * Manage employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations, and facilitating conflict resolution. * Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, updating policies as necessary. * Collaborate with management to develop and implement HR programs related to performance management, employee development, and retention. * Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports on HR metrics to inform leadership decisions. * Support benefits administration and coordinate with external vendors to ensure employee satisfaction and cost-effectiveness.
