Home Healthcare, Hospice and Community Services is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Support Specialist to join our HR team. This position plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day HR operations through administrative and technical assistance. The ideal candidate is organized, tech-savvy, and comfortable handling a variety of administrative tasks that contribute to a smooth and efficient HR function.

Requirements:

  • Education beyond High School related to Human Resource Management or Business Management;
  • One (1) year of experience performing Human Resources activities, preferably in a health care;
  • Or a combination of education and experience that is determined to be equivalent to the above requirements.
  • Eligibility to become a New Hampshire Notary Public.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to an automobile during working hours that meet the State of New Hampshire registration regulations and auto liability insurance.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, SharePoint

Responsibilities
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
  • Schedule interviews, employee onboarding sessions, training, and internal meetings.
  • Track employee training completions, certifications, and other HR compliance requirements.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate employee records, files, and HR databases.
  • Respond to and process employment verification requests.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement and recognition programs.
  • Prepare routine reports and HR communications as needed.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive HR information.
  • Perform other clerical and support duties as assigned.
