Description:

TekPro Support Services (TSS), LLC is seeking a Human Resources Technician with a focus on Policy, Planning and Analysis and will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide answers to recurring employee questions and provide explanations to routine HR policy.
  • Review human resources laws, policies, rules, and procedures, and provide routine informational support to applicants, employees, HR Advisors and Administrative Officers (AOs).
  • File and track course completions and employee relation case files.
  • Provide information on benefits and entitlements, awards, leave policies, telework policies, and performance management systems.
  • Prepare inputs, edits, and updates in HR database.
  • Utilize and update various systems for data entry and report generation, to include but not limited to: Defense Civilian Personnel Data System (DCPDS), My Performance Tool, Total Workforce Management System (TWMS), Navy-Enterprise Repository Program (N-ERP), Defense Civilian Pay System (DCPS), USA Staffing, USA Jobs, On-Boarding Manager, Electronic-Director, Acquisition Career Management (e-DACM), Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), HRLink, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS), Electronic-Director, and Employee Verification System (E-Verify), as well as various internal HR tools.
  • Scan, copy, gather, summarize, review, and analyze documents, and develop forms and correspondence.
  • Gather, maintain and file official records related to the various programs listed above in accordance with NSWCPD’s records management policy and practices.
  • Provide administrative support of the audio visual and communication capability as needed to support the various HR programs. The contractor shall provide support documenting processes, initiating, and assisting in the facilitation of meetings, capturing metrics, scheduling, recordkeeping, reporting, and coordination across various organizations internal and external to the command.
  • Review HR forms and job applications for completeness.
  • Distribute and track HR action requests.
  • Provide a monthly status report external to NSWCPD.
  • Receive and gather supply requests and assist in coordinating the request to acquisition POC for processing.
  • Perform administrative/technical duties in human resources functional areas. The contractor shall assist HR specialists in performing tasks such as, drafting correspondence, memos, slides, position papers, and news articles.

Minimum Education: Proposed individuals shall have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 years of HR Experience which shall include experience in each of the following areas: Labor and Employee Relations, Staffing and Classification and Workforce Development (WFD), and experience working on human resources laws, policies, rules, and procedures for the aforementioned program areas. Must possess knowledge of Government regulations, policies, and practices under Title 5, United States Code, and other statutes and legal Authorities for Federal Human Resources. Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs.
