LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN QUEBEC

Knowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate must also be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This exciting opportunity will help shape our future HR systems and processes and ensure our International HR Transformation & Operations Teams are operating optimally. This role will specifically:

  • Have matrixed leadership of the International HR Shared Service team
  • Help shape the strategic plan for HR systems and process transformation, aligning with business objectives, corporate objectives and HR priorities
  • Develop and maintain a strong reach back to HR Operations Centre of Expertise (CoE) Function, ensuring International HR Operations requirements are understood whilst driving, where practicable, for global alignment
  • Deliver HR System solutions which are underpinned by robust HR processes across international sites
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to maintain and consult on current HR systems and processes that meet business needs and drive efficiency
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including HR leaders, business partners, and technology vendors/consultants, to ensure effective collaboration and communication throughout the transformation process
  • Contribute toward and partner with change management teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed, engaged, and prepared for changes resulting from the HR transformation efforts
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the HR transformation and Operations efforts

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Familiar with 1LMX-HR transformation activities
  • Experience of running of HR Operations or Shared Service Centre
  • Experience in leading and implementing large & complex business projects or initiatives with international complexity
  • Experience in communicating business information effectively to large groups, including executive stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating cross functionally and managing enterprise projects with a 1LM mindset
  • Project and Change Management experience
  • Experienced leader who is adept at getting the most from a matrixed team environment
    Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 20 years or more of professional experience; or 18 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or 15 years of professional experience with a related PhD.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS DESIRED FOR THE ROLE

  • HR Experience across various HR disciplines
  • Demonstrated experience in HR systems implementation, management, and optimization
  • Knowledge of data integrations, data lakes and data warehouses
  • Ability to influence and build cross functional networks
