QUALIFICATIONS

To succeed in this position, you hold a master’s degree from a University or Business School preferably within law, business law, business administration, human rights, sustainability or equivalent and have a comprehensive understanding of both international business and human rights.

Other success criteria are:

  • +3 years of experience ideally from working hands-on with human rights, ESG, ethics & compliance or equivalent in a regulated industry (with training, providing advice, project management, risk management)
  • Experience from the pharmaceutical industry is not a must but will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels within a global organisation

Furthermore, you are a team player with an international mindset, who enjoys being part of a global work environment, while having the ability to communicate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner and to proactively manage numerous and changing priorities effectively. Additionally, you balance an attention to detail with a high-paced environment and can both drive and participate in cross-functional projects with complex stakeholder landscapes.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the development and implementation of the Human Rights Roadmap, setting the strategic direction for Novo Nordisk’s work on human rights
  • Lead the workstreams on ESG disclosure related to Human Rights and contribute to the overall external reporting on Ethics & Compliance
  • Provide expert advice on global and local Human Rights matters
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure anchoring of human rights processes and requirements in the global organisation
  • Develop and drive training and awareness initiatives for human rights to be rolled out in the global organisation
  • Manage and contribute to strategic projects and processes with medium to high complexit
