Job Description Job: Human Services Consultant Location: Remote (Minnesota Preferred) Client: Minnesota Department of IT Services (MNIT) / Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) Position Type: Proposal The Human Services Consultant will provide tactical leadership and domain expertise to support the implementation of a Worker Interface enabling integration between legacy eligibility systems and modern online benefit applications. This role will act as the primary bridge between program policy, operational realities, and technology implementation teams. The consultant will lead structured stakeholder engagement with county and Tribal human services agencies to ensure solutions are policy-aligned, human-centered, and operationally viable. Key Responsibilities: Lead stakeholder engagement activities with pilot counties and Tribal Nation partners Conduct interviews, workshops, and feedback sessions with eligibility workers and agency leadership Translate operational and policy needs into actionable requirements, user stories, and backlog inputs Represent worker experience and program realities in internal project design and planning discussions Identify policy constraints, compliance considerations, and program dependencies (e.g., SNAP, cash, and food programs) Support the incorporation of human-centered design and Whole Family Approach principles Build strong relationships and trust with frontline workers to drive adoption readiness Facilitate communication channels between local agencies and the broader project team. Contribute to risk identification and mitigation strategies related to implementation and rollout Qualifications 5 to 8 years of experience in Human Services programs (eligibility, benefits administration, or social services delivery) Demonstrated experience working with county, Tribal, or state human services agencies Strong knowledge of public assistance program policies and operational workflows Experience supporting system modernization or digital transformation initiatives Skilled in stakeholder facilitation, requirements elicitation, and structured feedback methods Understanding of human-centered design principles Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building capabilities Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Human Services, or related field (Master’s preferred) Additional Information Integres offers competitive salaries bolstered by a comprehensive benefits package, which provides safety and security for our employees and their families.
