Title: Human Services Program Manager State Role Title: Prog Admin Manager III Hiring Range: $112000 - 126163.50 Pay Band: 6 Agency: Virginia Department of Health Location: VDH-Central Office Agency Website: www.vdh.virginia.gov Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties The main function of the position manages the delivery of the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) in program development, monitoring, analysis, recommending policy and procedures, program research, evaluation changes in rules and regulations for impact on service delivery. In addition, the position supports the delivery of multiple program agency wide services that are primarily long range in focus through formal supervision of all levels of program staff. Frequent contact with private and public sector employees, citizens, officials, boards and organizations. Responsibilities also include resource management of finances, staff, facilities and equipment. Independently designs and manages programs within agency goals and objectives. A comprehensive knowledge of the program(s) and services provided as well as the ability to integrate service delivery methods to meet quality and efficiency requirements and the ability to supervise staff are necessary. Minimum Qualifications - Extensive knowledge of the Child and Adult Care Food Program and its relationship to the federal regulations - Extensive knowledge of program development and planning, research and evaluation, analytical principles, quality control methods, and ability to provide technical assistance - Experience conducting research and knowledge of the practice and principles of research, including development, implementation, data analysis, and dissemination; ability to interpret/implement data collection and reporting requirements - Extensive knowledge and experience in leadership, interpersonal communications and public speaking, working with boards, committees, hospitals, local, federal and state agencies -Knowledge and experience in administrative and business practices, programmatic and operational controls, personnel management and budgetary controls Additional Considerations - Health Care Administration experience preferred - Progressively responsible administrative and managerial experience in a governmental/quasi-governmental organization or agency Experience leading complex research or other related projects - Possess skills to handle highly sensitive situations effectively; prepare technical documentation and write reports - Possess excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities and work independently Special Instructions You will be provided a confirmation of receipt when your application and/or résumé is submitted successfully.
