Job Description As part of the team you will have the following responsibilities: Support the ESA Safety Review Panel Chairs in the conduct of ESA flight safety reviews for the ESA human spaceflight mission projects as per. Provide technical support to ensure compliance with human spaceflight safety requirements; Perform preliminary assessments of the readiness of safety review data packages for flight safety review; Collect and consolidate feedback from technical experts to be provided to hardware developers; Communicate outcomes of reviews, including writing and distributing minutes of meetings and safety review closures; Assess safety analyses and compliance data packages from hardware providers, providing detailed written feedback; Offer human spaceflight safety engineering support to project reviews, CDF studies, TRL assessments; Track and process action item responses and safety verification closeouts; Maintain and update documentation in relevant databases; Prepare weekly reports on human spaceflight safety engineering activities Maintain an efficient database of training materials; Participate in outreach activities related to human spaceflight safety. Interface and liaise with NASA Mission Evaluation Room (MER), NASA Flight Operations Directorate (FOD) and NASA POIC safety functions; Qualifications You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience: Master’s Degree in a relevant STEM discipline Demonstrated experience in space projects/operations; Good experience with MS Office tools High capacity to interact and communicate effectively, High-level of organisational skills, with attention to detail, flexibility, ability to identify priorities and coordination of tasks; Ability to interface with multiple stakeholders in international environment, Fluency in English Additional Information This job is located in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
