1. Coordination of Outputs and Knowledge Production
Work closely with the HoDP on strategic implementation of the HPN 2025-2028 vision and the development of a partnership approach, including supporting knowledge production with local practitioners within partner networks.
PURPOSE OF JOB
The HPN Coordinator will be responsible for the organisation and management of the outputs, productions and collaborations of the network. This includes coordination of the editing and publishing of online articles, the Humanitarian Exchange magazine, research-based network papers, and associated visual products and infographics. In addition, the HPN Coordinator will lead on initiating and managing innovative knowledge production processes and outputs with local actors.
The HPN Coordinator will also support the shift of HPN to a partnership-based network of global, regional and national networks of local practitioners in various humanitarian contexts. To achieve this, the HPN Coordinator will work closely with the Head of Development and Partnerships (HoDP) to develop the HPN Partnership Group and HPN Advisory Group and to support the network’s operation and engagement to achieve its mission. This includes contributing to the design and operations of the emerging model.
Reporting to the HPN HoDP, the HPN Coordinator will have a significant degree of autonomy in management, coordination and design thinking . The coordinator will work closely with HPN’s partners and HPG team members, particularly the Policy and Communications (PAC) team, as well as external collaborators and consultants, as needed.
