A lively inner London secondary school in Lambeth is looking for a motivated Humanities Graduate Teaching Assistant to join the team from September, for a long-term role continuing for the full academic year.
This is an ideal opportunity for a Geography, History or other humanities graduate considering a career in teaching or for an experienced Learning Support Assistant with a focus on Humanities subjects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in a Humanities subject such as Geography, History, Philosophy, Sociology
• Previous experience working with young people in schools or educational settings
• Confident, proactive and enthusiastic approach
• Interest in pursuing a career in teaching

• Support teachers in class across Humanities lessons
• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions for under-achieving and lower-ability students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Cover lessons as a HLTA when teachers are absent
• Help create an engaging and supportive learning environment
