REQUIREMENTS:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Strong subject knowledge in one or more Humanities subjects.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience teaching Humanities at the secondary level is preferred, but NQTs are encouraged to apply.

    Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across Humanities subjects to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Differentiate learning materials to meet the needs of all students, including those with additional educational needs.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to both students and parents.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that encourages respect, curiosity, and critical thinking.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, school meetings, and professional development opportunities.
