ABOUT THE ROLE

This opportunity has arisen from our ongoing success and growth in the renewable energy sector. We are looking for a High Voltage Senior Authorised Person.
As part of the Engineering Team, you will be responsible for attending site to carry out HV switching operations in accordance with our electrical distribution safety rules and in line with Powersystems’ strategy.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issue safety documents.
• Identify and spike cable circuits, including fault location.
• Test cable circuits.
• Support project and commissioning engineers with HV testing.
• Always work safely and in accordance with H&S procedures.
• Coordinate with clients and consultants for safe practices.
• Oversee and mentor engineers working towards SAP status.
• Manage interfaces with client/DNO SAPs.
• Uphold a professional image, contribute to service efficiency.
• Demonstrate Powersystems Principles: Health, Safety and Well-being, Professionalism, Pride, Partnership and Proactive.
