YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 year’s Experience in hands on role in mechanical industry.
  • Structured approach to creating and maintaining project commissioning documentation
  • Experience writing tests procedures and reports
  • Testing tools knowledge. The ability to quickly learn how to configure, use and test new products and technologies
  • Comfortable while working with technical documentation & drawings.
  • Experience of People Management.
  • Previous experience having worked in Testing & Commissioning of large infrastructure projects.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to undertake challenges and help solve them in a team or independently
  • Highly motivated to providing great customer service and quality with attention to finding solutions and accurate results
  • Proven management of urgent tasks and projects
  • Good organization, cost estimation, scope and time management skills
  • Knowledge & understanding of project scheduling
  • Maintain effective internal and external relationships & communication
  • Know the basics of Excel to write reports or follow project management timelines
  • Absolute focus on quality
  • Positive approach to problem solving and highly developed fault finding and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and Networking and negotiation skills
  • Car driver’s licence
  • Able to work independently with excellent customer service and negotiation skills

Responsibilities
  • Deliver testing documentation and reports (tests procedures, test books, test reports)
  • Coordinate activities planning & access permits
  • A focus on delivering systems of the highest quality
  • Gathering an understanding of the deliverables required for each project from project documentation
  • Hands on testing and commissioning of mechanical systems on site
  • Working closely with control system programmers and installation staff to identify the exact cause of faults
  • Working with other technical and installation staff to identify and implement resolutions to issues
  • Coordinating the tracking and resolution of project defects
  • Translating issues into clear documentation that others can work from to clear project defects
  • Completing testing documentation and signing off on systems as functional and defect free
  • Communicating the technical completion status of projects to management
  • Fostering a culture of continuous improvement and team building within the projects department
  • Working with the rest of the team to successfully deliver fully functional projects without lingering issues to customers
  • Check compliance of systems in relation to system specification documents and contractual documents
  • Ensure that all of tests are performed in full safe & EHS conditions with calibrated tools
  • Troubleshoot the system if there are faults or if the system is not working as per design
  • Use your experience and knowledge to identify reasons for under performance, or justifying reasons why system parameters should be changed.
  • Working with the mechanical systems involved in Airflow, Temperature, Waterflow, Duct Pressure, Stair Pressurisation Testing, Carpark Exhausts, Clean Rooms, Air Quality Testing, PAC Units, Chillers, VAVs, New & Existing Installations, Checking for compliance to the newest standards
