Job Description: Phoenix Mechanical is seeking a reliable HVAC Apprentice for their Elmsford, NY location. The HVAC Apprentice effectively and efficiently loads and unloads HVAC equipment and supplies, delivers equipment to work sites and helps with HVAC service and installation. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get into and learn more about HVAC, generators, electrical, plumbing, and radon mitigation. Responsibilities: * Responsible for loading delivery vehicles with parts scheduled for delivery and completing efficient deliveries and pick-up routes * Helping our Install and service technician on job sites * Ensures that product is delivered to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary * Accountable for picking up products along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested * Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery routes are completed * Responsible for travel as business dictates and can accommodate a flexible schedule to meet workload needs Job Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record * Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Competencies: * Strong organizational skills * Ability to work individually and as part of a team * Problem-solving skills * Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills What can we offer you? * Opportunities for advancement within a growing organization * Competitive base salary * Medical, dental, and vision insurance * Paid holidays * 401k retirement plan with 401k matching The starting base pay range for this position is $19-22 per hour. This is the range of the base pay only: it does not include other components that make up the total compensation package of the position.
