JOB DESCRIPTION

This career is a great opportunity for individuals who are looking to further their careers in the Natural Gas industry. We are seeking an experienced gas fitter with G1 or G2 License (R313A will be an asset) who has the ability to install and repair Boilers, Rooftops, Radiators and other gas equipment.

Requirements

• Valid Gas Technician G1 or G2 TSSA License with at least 2 years of work experience. R313 A License will be an asset.
• Experience working with Boilers AND Rooftops is preferred.
• Should be capable of working alone at the job sites.
• Should be capable of troubleshooting the problems and resolving them efficiently.
• Valid Fall Height Certificate
• Valid driver’s license Class G* with a clean driving record
• Thorough knowledge of the CSA B149 Gas Code
• A punctual and honest individual with integrity
• Clean work and 100% code compliance
• Must be able to perform physical work in confined spaces and from heights using a ladder in all weather conditions (e.g. heavy lifting, walking, climbing, push and pull and working)
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality work and superior customer service
• Willingness to work extended hours and Saturdays when required

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Testing and repair of both new and existing gas supply systems for leaks
• Service and Installation of gas Boilers and related equipment
• Maintain and organize inventory on both the service vehicles and workshop
• Other duties as required

Successful candidates will complete an in-person interview as well as an in-field evaluation shift with an experienced gas technician.
