Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a HVAC Chiller Technician to join a leading mechanical services company located in Savannah, GA through a 100% onsite role. The HVAC Chiller Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC & chiller systems in data rooms, ensuring optimal performance across a variety of industrial, medical, and commercial facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience servicing commercial chiller systems.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining complex mechanical HVAC systems.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, and sheet metal concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic PC applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Technical/apprentice school certification or equivalent on-the-job training.

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on centrifugal, reciprocating, screw, and scroll chillers (Trane, Carrier, York, Daikin).
• Troubleshoot HVAC systems using systematic questioning and proper instrumentation.
• Conduct chiller overhauls, retrofits, and major inspections as required.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance, repairs, and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure all safety and limit controls are properly set.
• Operate within Building Management Systems and interpret schematics for system analysis.
