JOB DESCRIPTION

D-W Wilson is a maintenance company in the oil and gas industry. Our head office is in Fort St. John, BC, and we operate throughout the NEBC and AB regions. We are looking for a licensed HVAC, Class B Gas Fitter Technician to join our team to support the provision of mechanical services to industrial and commercial locations throughout our service area.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Journeyman Class B Gas Fitter ticket
• Air conditioning and refrigeration license preferred
• Class 5 Driver’s License
• All oilfield tickets required, including CSO
• 2+ years proven experience as an HVAC Technician
• Working knowledge of gas/propane boiler systems, furnaces, radiants, unit heaters, water heaters and all other heating and ventilation systems
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
• A recent 12 panel drug test, completed in the last three months is also required.

Education:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required

• Providing Preventative Maintenance Service and repairs to ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment
• Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems
• Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
• Assisting with customers’ queries in a respectful manner
• Assist with everyday operations of the site
• Follow all health and safety regulations
  Job Type: Fulltime with overtime, fly in/out on rotation if preferred
