Location: Horwich (UK-wide travel required)

Salary: £45,500 - £53,000 per year (depending on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC commissioning and system balancing
  • Knowledge of air and water balancing procedures as per BSRIA guidelines and CIBSE Codes A & W
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to build professional client relationships
  • Commitment to health and safety, both personally and for clients
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with overnight stays as required

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid CSCS card
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

An experienced and dependable HVAC Commissioning Engineer is required to join a dynamic team, delivering commissioning services for air and water systems across various UK sites. This is a field-based position involving regular travel and overnight stays.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Commission air and water systems in accordance with current CIBSE Codes of Practice
  • Perform domestic water system balancing, TMV validation, and set-up
  • Provide system demonstrations to clients and consultants
  • Produce accurate test sheets and commissioning reports in a timely manner
  • Complete all relevant documentation including work reports, handover certificates, and checklists
  • Follow company procedures and maintain a respectful, professional attitude toward colleagues and clients
  • Travel to project sites nationwide, including overnight stays where necessary
  • Take part in company training programmes to support ongoing development
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget
