JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible to plan, execute, and finalize Controls service calls, repairs and projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. Perform all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:

Ø Familiar with the HVAC industry standards and codes as well as controls standards
Ø Prior experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of a variety of HVAC equipment and supporting structures.
Ø Demonstrated experience in personnel management
Ø Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
is essential
Ø Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Ø Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

Ø High school diploma or equivalent experience required
Ø 6 years experience in the HVAC industry

Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour

Ø Perform a wide variety of skilled HVAC activities for the purpose of resolving any complicated service or maintenance issue in a safe, effective and timely manner
Ø Be the ears of the field and provide insight to potential conflicts
Ø Regularly communicate with dispatch to confirm everyone is working and assist with keeping manpower busy
Ø Cover emergency service calls when manpower is limited
Ø Support fleet maintenance and cleanliness
Ø Provide training to Tradesmen and/or Apprentices
Ø Be OSHA 30 certified and ensure field technicians are always working safely
Ø Have access electronic files to assist with proper recordkeeping and/or job site support
Ø Stay current with HVAC technology, applications and software
Ø Support tracking of company tools and record keeping of technician personal tool lists
Ø Work with the sales team as needed for account support or labor pricing
Ø Regular attendance and timeliness
Ø Perform other duties as assigned
