Description

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Counter Sales Associate is responsible for providing outstanding service to new and existing customers, both in-person and over the phone.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and dedication to customer service are key to success in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Completion of secondary school education
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and/or customer service experience in the HVAC industry
  • Proven track record of sales success and knowledge of HVAC parts and industry standards.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Sales Software
    Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday with Rotating Saturdays from 7:00 am -12pm
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: From $28.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding service to new and existing customers in-person and over the phone
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product availability and pricing
  • Process warranties and returns
  • Ensure accurate and efficient order entry into the system
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to determine accurate pricing and lead times for orders
  • Suggest substitutes to customers if a product is out of stock
  • Build strong relationships with customers and coworkers
  • Contact customers by phone to advise them of special deals or promotions to increase sales
  • Work closely with other sales staff and Branch Manager to complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain accurate sales records
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
