ABOUT THE ROLE

As a MEP Designer at GROPYUS you will be working on the development and modeling of our building product, the standardization of processes, and the support for delivery of projects. GROPYUS sets a strong focus on sustainability, and the design of the building’s energy concepts and technical equipment are a central part of it. You will be working in an interdisciplinary team of experts in building design, digitalization, production, and construction site management. GROPYUS offers unique opportunities like the Prototyping Center at our factory, industrialized Product Series Management, bottom-up Cost- and Sustainability-Engineering, and a data-first approach with a strong Tech team.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Modeling (with Revit) of Sub-assemblies of mechanical systems for the GROPYUS Building Product, within various building services disciplines such as Heating, Ventilation and Sanitary, with focus on sustainability, prefabrication, standardization, and design automation.
  • Implementation of state-of-the-art solutions in our residential Building Product, ready for tendering, production and construction
  • Support for constant and controlled evolution of the Product within the Series- and Change-Management
  • Work closely with the extended Building System Team with design disciplines like Architecture, Structure, Building Physics, Acoustics, Fire Protection
  • Contribute to the improvement of our Digital Value Chain through design-standardization and -automation in close collaboration with the Product and Technology Teams
  • Design for user centricity, manufacturing and assembly, sustainability, and cost
