We are constantly growing. Drafting and design in Mechanical (HVAC) and plumbing disciplines as well as Electrical design experience is needed/required. You would work with the engineer of record as well as other Dynamic designers and carry out the design process followed by the drafting in AUTOCAD MEP on a contract basis (sometimes Revit). Although the hourly rate is stated above, it really varies based on on the designers ability to complete the project. MOST projects are a contract basis, some are hourly. Someone that is new with less experience will move slower, and needs more direction, the hourly rate would work out to be at the lower end of the scale. With designers that are more experienced or very good CAD/design skills, can move quickly with less direction and are at the higher end of the scale. The projects vary from HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, chillers, geothermal, and boilers on the mechanical side and lighting and circuiting building power on the electrical side . This provides you with flexibility to work at home with the milestone deadlines that have to be met. Because every project is different in size and scope the contract amount is dependent on the deliverables. As time goes by, depending on you availability, projects will be offered to you that cater more toward your preference. All work is done at home on your schedule, although you must have some daily availability during normal working hours to communicate. Projects are mostly steady and constantly available for the right individual. Payment occurs upon deliverables being met through Venmo or similar platform. Good communication skills are a must.
