We are seeking a skilled HVAC Design Engineer to support the design and engineering of HVAC and MEP systems for complex Oil & Gas and industrial projects.   Position Overview We are seeking an experienced HVAC Design Engineer to develop and review HVAC design deliverables for Oil & Gas, industrial, and marine projects. The successful candidate will perform HVAC design calculations, prepare engineering documentation, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with client specifications, ADNOC standards, international codes, and project quality requirements.   Key Responsibilities • Prepare design requests, design input documents, design change notices, and other engineering documentation for in-house and subcontracted design activities. • Review HVAC design deliverables prepared internally, by subcontractors, or received from clients before issue for approval or construction. • Prepare design verification, design input review, design output review, and validation documents in accordance with project requirements. • Perform HVAC and MEP engineering calculations, including cooling and heating load calculations, ventilation calculations, equipment sizing, and duct system design. • Develop HVAC layouts, duct routing, equipment layouts, and associated engineering deliverables. • Coordinate HVAC design activities with Mechanical, Piping, Structural, Electrical, and Instrumentation disciplines to ensure multidisciplinary integration. • Establish effective communication with clients through the Project Manager and coordinate with design subcontractors on engineering matters. • Maintain engineering document control and revision records throughout the project lifecycle. • Review project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements to ensure design compliance. • Coordinate with vendors to review technical submittals and support equipment selection. • Participate in design review meetings, constructability reviews, and technical discussions with clients and consultants. • Liaise with clients, consultants, third-party agencies, and classification societies regarding HVAC design requirements. • Provide engineering support during procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, commissioning, and project close-out activities. • Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with company Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and project schedules. • Perform additional engineering duties assigned by the Engineering Manager.   Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Minimum 8 years of HVAC design experience, preferably 8–12 years within Oil & Gas, EPC, industrial, marine, or offshore projects. Technical Qualification: Hands-on experience in HVAC and MEP system design. Experience with ADNOC projects and international engineering standards is highly desirable. Skills: Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, cooling and ventilation systems, multidisciplinary engineering coordination, and technical problem-solving. Software: Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D design software, HAP Software, and MS Office. Experience with Revit MEP, Navisworks, or similar design software is an advantage. Knowledge: Thorough understanding of HVAC systems, ASHRAE standards, SMACNA, NFPA, ADNOC specifications, and applicable international engineering codes.   Why Join Us?
