Job Description Main Purpose of the Job: The HVAC Engineer’s job purpose is to: Produce HVAC detailed design. Support in complex HVAC design optimization topics. Key Duties and Responsibilities: HVAC design production and design review from Contractors in accordance with project requirements; Understanding client requirements and project objectives Answering to HVAC related queries from Contractors; Supporting in impact assessment reports preparation related to HVAC topics; Helping in managing modifications of HVAC systems of the project through involvement in dedicated working groups; Contributing in the management of interfaces between HVAC and other disciplines; Providing support to Site Supervision team when and as required (e.g. review of product data sheet, installation procedures, T&C procedures and activities) Key Personality Characteristics / Abilities Controlling works. Relationship with the contractors. Liaising with design to find the best technical solutions. Bringing their expertise to the project and teams on their field Knowledge of the work progress on their building or disciplines. Qualifications Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent At least 10 years’ experience in relevant field Strong nuclear and conventional safety culture Ability to assess technical documentation from Contractors / Manufacturers Ability to manage own workload in accordance with challenging deadlines Flexibility to respond to changing priorities Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment Ability to interact directly with the Client and with Contractor Additional Information LANGUAGES English mandatory French ia a plus
Responsibilities
The HVAC Engineer is responsible for producing detailed HVAC designs and supporting complex design optimization topics. They will also manage modifications of HVAC systems and contribute to the management of interfaces between HVAC and other disciplines.
