THE ROLE

We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our facilities management team working on a secure MOD site at RAF Croughton.
This is a permanent, full-time role (40 hrs, Mon–Fri) where you’ll carry out the maintenance, repair, service, and minor works on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across accommodation blocks, offices, and technical buildings.
The role involves a mix of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards (COSHH, RIDDOR) and MOD requirements. You’ll often be working independently, using a company van and tablet for job allocation, while delivering safe and efficient service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service, maintain, and repair a variety of HVAC plant and systems (split systems, AHUs, VRF/VRV, boilers, ventilation, chillers).
  • Carry out PPM schedules, fault-finding, and emergency reactive maintenance.
  • Deliver minor installation and upgrade works on HVAC equipment.
  • Ensure safe, compliant operations in line with H&S regulations and site procedures.
  • Complete all documentation and reporting via company tablet.
  • Support colleagues and supervisors with wider FM delivery.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours call rota (with additional pay).
