JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Engineer to design, install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in HVAC system design, load calculations, energy efficiency optimization, and troubleshooting complex HVAC issues. This role requires collaboration with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure efficient system performance and compliance with industry standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, HAP (Hourly Analysis Program), and other HVAC design software. Strong knowledge of HVAC control systems and Building Management Systems (BMS).
  • Certifications: HVAC certification (e.g., LEED, ASHRAE, or local equivalent) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience with industrial, commercial, and residential HVAC projects.
  • Familiarity with sustainable and green building practices.
  • Knowledge of refrigeration systems, VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) technology, and chilled water systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design & Engineering: Develop HVAC system designs, including ductwork layouts, piping, and equipment selection. Perform load calculations and energy modeling to optimize efficiency.
  • Installation & Commissioning: Oversee the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety regulations.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve HVAC system issues, conduct regular inspections, and recommend improvements for optimal performance.
  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure all HVAC systems comply with local building codes, ASHRAE standards, and environmental regulations.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to execute projects on time and within budget.
  • Energy Efficiency Optimization: Implement strategies for reducing energy consumption and enhancing system sustainability.
