Job Title: Deputy Project Manager – HVAC (Chillers) Location: Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time (FTE) – On Company Payroll Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Deputy Project Manager – HVAC (Chillers) to manage end-to-end execution of HVAC projects, specifically focusing on chiller installation, commissioning, and testing. The candidate will be responsible for delivering projects on time while ensuring quality, safety, and stakeholder satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end project execution of HVAC systems with a focus on chillers Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning (ITC) activities at project sites Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards Coordinate with clients, consultants, PMC, vendors, and internal teams Drive site planning, execution strategy, and resource management Monitor project progress and resolve any technical or operational challenges Ensure compliance with EHS and quality norms Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and MIS updates Support project closure including handover, documentation, and billing coordination Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) 8–12 years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution Strong experience in Chiller systems (installation, commissioning, testing) Hands-on exposure to project management & site execution Experience working with large commercial / industrial HVAC projects Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills Good understanding of contracts, project planning, and execution lifecycle Preferred Background: Candidates from HVAC / MEP / Building Services industry Experience in companies handling chiller-based HVAC projects Exposure to project management tools and site execution practices Key Competencies: Project Management & Execution Technical expertise – HVAC / Chillers Stakeholder Management Problem Solving & Decision Making Communication & Coordination Johnson Controls: Enhancing the Intelligence of Buildings Your buildings have a purpose.
