What You'll Be Doing You won't be sitting behind a desk. You'll be out in the field, traveling to customer homes as part of a tight-knit crew of 2–3. Under the direction of a Lead Installer, you'll tackle the big stuff: Tearing out old units and installing brand-new heating and cooling systems. Running wires through walls like a pro. Fabricating and installing custom ductwork. Setting up refrigeration lines and replacing venting. Getting the job done right, usually on 1–2 jobs a day. Your Daily Checklist Prep: Organize, load, and clean your truck before every job. Setup: Lay out supplies and prep the vehicle for install. Foundation: Level the ground and place the outdoor unit pad perfectly. Installation: Assist with line sets, ductless mini-splits (ref lines, hides, drains, wiring), and braze piping connections. Precision: Cut wall penetrations, mount thermostats, and hook up high/low voltage wiring. Commissioning: Bring systems to life (unitary forced air, ductless, and communicating systems). Cleanup: Leave the site spotless, inside and out. Requirements Who We're Looking For Built for the Job: Physically fit enough for 8–10 hours of manual labor a day. No Fear: Comfortable lifting heavy gear, climbing ladders, squeezing into tight spaces, and working in any weather. People Person: Strong communication skills to explain the install to customers clearly. Hands-On: Previous manual labor experience is a must. Bonus Points: Construction field experience is a huge plus.
