Job Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily operations of HVAC installation teams to ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability. Manage scheduling and coordination of installation jobs with dispatch and operations teams. Train, coach, and develop install technicians and crews to improve performance and workmanship. Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications, local codes, and company quality standards. Monitor job performance, labor efficiency, and material usage to maintain profitability. Conduct job site inspections and quality control checks to ensure high standards are met. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for complex installations. Collaborate with sales teams to ensure accurate job scopes, pricing, and customer expectations. Manage customer experience by addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction throughout the install process. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and local regulations. Oversee inventory needs and coordinate with warehouse for materials and equipment. Track and manage team performance, KPIs, and departmental goals. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management of installation team members. Drive a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Perform additional leadership and operational duties as assigned. Requirements 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience with leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, load calculations, and local codes. Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop installation teams. Experience managing KPIs such as job efficiency, labor cost, and installation quality. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to troubleshoot complex installation issues. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Experience working with dispatch, sales, and operations teams. Proficient in job management software (ServiceTitan preferred). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Safety-focused with knowledge of OSHA and industry regulations.
