Description

Family Plumbing and Heating is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Manager in Northern Michigan to join our team! The HVAC Install Manager is responsible for the leadership, motivation, managing, and training of our Installation Team. The Manager creates an installation process and a goal-setting component to meet revenue and profit targets.
The Install Manager has a great understanding of the HVAC residential retail market and the necessary tools to bring success to the Installation team. They exhibit strong communication skills, conflict resolution skills, customer service skills, and have a high aptitude for managing labor efficiently to meet the profit goals of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 5+ years HVAC Installation or Service experience. Must be technically savvy to be able to answer any installation questions which may arise.
  • Must have experience managing multiple HVAC installation crews.
  • 3 - 5 years of Operations Management experience leading installation crews
  • 5 - 10 years of HVAC Residential Retrofit experience and knowledge
  • MS OFFICE - Excel, Word
  • Proven experience with Service Titan
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record

EDUCATIONAL / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Certificate of completion from an HVAC Technical School

  • Remain up to date on the latest industry trends, installation methods, systems, and technology available within the market and the business.
  • Partner with the Sales team to drive customer sales and leads. Provide helpful feedback to sales on “sold versus actual”.
