Description
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC installer to install HVAC systems. The HVAC installer will be skilled in installing and inspecting systems. To be successful in this role, customer satisfaction, safety, and comfort should be your top priority. In addition, ideal candidates will be patient and have excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills. Someone who can also manage job site activities for HVAC retrofit projects and plan, organize, and executes daily work activities for the crew. Responsibilities: Installing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Review and follow plans, specifications, submittals, and installation instructions. Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Providing technical direction and on-the-job training. Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers' requirements. Responsible for installation and startup of various HVAC equipment types. Directs helpers on daily work activities. Abides by company policies. Other duties as assigned. Performance Indicators: Certain key business indicators will measure the effectiveness of this position. Productivity factors come in at or under our historical average Customer compliments Reduction in the number of callbacks as a result of failure to follow instructions Reduced material orders and trips to supply houses HVAC Technician Requirements: High school diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent. Valid TX driver's license. Understanding of principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating. EPA certificate (preferred). Must pass an employment background check. Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Proficient in reading schematics and work plans. Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice (preferred). Ability to work in confined spaces. We offer a competitive benefits package.
