CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Technical Excellence: Install furnaces, air handlers, condensers, and ventilation systems. Run line sets, drain lines, gas piping, and venting with surgical precision. Blueprint Accuracy: Read and follow mechanical plans and layouts to ensure systems are placed correctly the first time. The Edelman Standard: Maintain a "better than we found it" job site. Keep your vehicle clean, organized, and stocked (80/20 program) to ensure maximum efficiency. Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with builders, site supervisors, and other trades on-site to keep projects on schedule and within labor budgets. Startup & Testing: Ensure all work meets local codes and perform troubleshooting on-site to ensure the system is ready for the homeowner. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 3 years of residential HVAC install experience. Certifications: EPA Certification (Required. If not currently held, a $1.00/hr raise is awarded upon completion). Compliance: Must pass a drug screen and background check; valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record. Tools: Possession of basic hand tools necessary for Install Level 2 work. Communication: Ability to communicate clearly with supervisors and subcontractors in a professional manner. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently. Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and varying Illinois weather conditions. Ability to climb ladders and use power tools safely. WHY JOIN OUR TEAM? Full-Time Stability: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Occasional overtime as needed). Career Growth: We believe in "Continuous Learning."
