Job Overview As an HVAC Install Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your expertise in reading blueprints, handling HVAC equipment, and ensuring compliance with industry standards will contribute to the successful completion of projects and the satisfaction of our clients. Responsibilities: Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, heat pumps, ventilation systems, and ductwork, according to blueprints and specifications. Perform retrofit installations by replacing or upgrading existing HVAC equipment and components. Conduct thorough inspections of project sites to assess existing conditions and determine appropriate installation methods. Perform load calculations to determine proper equipment sizing and capacity requirements. Install and connect electrical wiring, control panels, thermostats, and other HVAC system components. Test installed HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning, efficiency, and compliance with performance standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues or malfunctions in HVAC systems during and after installation. Collaborate with clients to provide guidance on HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices. Stay updated on industry advancements, emerging technologies, and best practices in HVAC installation. Desired Skills and Experience: EPA Type II Certification preferred. Proven experience as an HVAC Install Technician, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and operations. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation techniques. Familiarity with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Proficiency in handling HVAC tools, equipment, and materials. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking initiative and demonstrating a strong work ethic. Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively. Physical ability to perform the job duties, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and climbing ladders.
