This is an entry level position where you will be performing basic HVAC maintenance and tune-ups. As you build your skills and gain knowledge you will advance into more of a service technician role. The ideal candidate will have completed HVAC training, have worked in the HVAC field previously, or have strong technical and mechanical abilities. **This position will require travel to our Griffin office for on-the-job training (up to 6 weeks).** What We Offer: * Competitive compensation packages (base pay, commissions/spiffs, etc.) – TOP PAY FOR TOP TALENT! * Opportunities for professional development and advancement within our Team * 401k retirement plan with Employer Match * Company Profit Sharing * Medical, Dental, & Vision Plans * Paid vacation and holidays * Company issued phone, uniforms & vehicles What You’ll Do: * Perform on-site preventative maintenance, and routine repair on residential and/or light commercial HVAC units. * Uses experience and technical skills with preventive maintenance and system operations to determine service requirements. * Advises manager of preventive maintenance inspections performed and corrective actions to be taken. * Works in a team-based environment to share information and workload while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Must work in a safe manner on a daily basis and ensure that all safety measures are taken at all times. * Use of software to report work completed and collect customer payments (COD). What You’ll Bring: * Completion of HVAC training and/or experience, strongly preferred. * Obtain the appropriate certifications (EPA Type I, II, III or Universal). Other HVAC certifications are a PLUS! * Have a valid driver’s license and meet auto insurance requirements (minimum age to drive 22 years old). * Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check. * Effectively manage call volume and day-to-day tasks; be able to work flexible schedules including overtime, as needed. * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
