Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on all HVAC equipment and components to manufactures recommendation (valves, motors, belts, bearings, filters and lubrication etc.). Learn basics of equipment management controls (Metasys, Siemens, TAC) to be able to start and stop equipment properly during preventive maintenance. Identify and repair any potential problems found on HVAC equipment during preventive maintenance and notify supervisor of any discrepancies. Requisitions and maintains stock of replacement parts used in repair of facilities equipment. Ability to read and interpret work orders. Assist HVAC mechanics in the performance of routine maintenance and repairs to systems. Perform other duties as required or assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications Two years of verifiable related HVAC maintenance / troubleshooting experience or formal HVAC training certification from accredited institution. High School diploma or GED equivalency. Valid US Driver’s License. Ability to pass a National Agency background check. Desired Qualifications: EPA Universal (Type I, II and III) CFC/HCFC Refrigerant Processing Certification or ability to obtain. Responsibilities
