REQUIREMENTS

· Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving record
· Journeyperson HVAC/Sheet Metal Red Seal Ticket with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the residential sector
· Hi-velocity system experience required, spiral duct preferred
· Strong understanding of mechanical systems including plumbing integration
· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Previous supervisory or management experience
· Process-driven, team-oriented, and motivated by growth

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are Edmonton’s largest framing company, and we’re expanding into mechanical/HVAC installations for new residential builds. We’re looking for an experienced HVAC Manager to lead this exciting new division, oversee set up, and guide a skilled team in delivering high-quality work that complements our innovative panelized construction system.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Establish and manage the company’s new mechanical/HVAC department
· Recruit, and mentor a team of HVAC Journeypersons and apprentices
· Install HVAC systems and accessories to manufacturer specifications and local code requirements
· Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
· Collaborate closely with production and construction teams to integrate systems seamlessly
· Drive the development and execution of the new division
· Ensure all work follows quality control and safety procedures
· Monitor material needs, availability, budget and project timelines
· Provide training and share expertise across the team
· Support continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
· Contribute to the successful growth and long-term success of the department
