Description
Primarily responsible for performing installs, repairs and maintenance to a variety of equipment including: refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, hermetic compressors, light commercial furnaces, boilers, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers and humidifiers. Troubleshoots malfunctioning heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems to determine the cause of the malfunction Performs scheduled maintenance inspections, and adjusts, cleans and calibrates various systems to assure proper system operations repairs wiring and electronic components associated with automated building management systems, replaces expansion valves, compressors, motors, coil units and other component parts.
Responsibilities
The HVAC Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of heating, cooling, and refrigeration equipment. They also troubleshoot malfunctions and perform scheduled inspections to ensure optimal system operation.
