The Olympic HVAC Parts and Supply division team is a wholesale distributor on the Northshore that supplies equipment and parts to the HVAC & Refrigeration trade. Our parts group is a fast-growing and dynamic team committed to customer service.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, going above and beyond to exceed customer expectations, and fostering long-lasting relationships that encourage repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by offering technical support, answering product inquiries, recommending HVAC parts and supplies tailored to client needs, and resolving any concerns with personalized solutions.
  • Leverage in-depth product lines of HVAC parts, equipment, and industry trends.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by providing regular updates on order status, ETAs, shipping and tracking information, or alternatives for out-of-stock or discontinued products.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize customer requests for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplier inquiries across multiple channels, ensuring organized, accurate order processing and on-time delivery.
  • Prepare accurate quotations and generate invoices based on customer requirements, while conducting proactive market research to ensure consistent pricing that aligns with industry trends.
  • Quickly address and resolve order-related issues, including processing returns, exchanges, and warranty claims, while ensuring compliance with company policy.
  • Identify and price HVAC replacement parts and materials for retrofit projects.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

Education, Licenses and/or Certification, Experience Required

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, and/or 2+ years of experience in sales or a related occupation.
  • Trades experience (HVAC/Plumbing/Electrical) and Forklift experience are considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems with the ability to demonstrate and discuss technical details with customers.
  • Proven track record in generating sales and building lasting relationships with both B2B and B2C clients (ability to demonstrate effective selling methods).
  • Proficiency in processing orders, quotes, credits, and backorders using Microsoft Office tools.
  • Highly effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills, complemented by excellent active listening abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to swiftly resolve issues and manage multiple customer requests and orders efficiently.
  • Highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive person, with a strong passion for continuous learning able to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in inventory management, warehousing, and stocking procedures, with hands-on experience utilizing company-specific software platforms and infrastructure to streamline operations.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid Class 5 driver’s license.
