Description HVAC Copper Pipefitter KAR & Larrabee, a well-established mechanical contractor with over 50 years in the industry, is hiring experienced Copper Pipefitters for a high-end senior living facility project in Tampa, FL. This is an opportunity to work on a large-scale commercial project with a stable company offering consistent work and professional job sites. Responsibilities Install HVAC piping systems including chilled water, hot water, refrigerant, and steam Measure, cut, bend, and assemble copper piping Perform brazing and soldering to join pipes Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings Pressure test systems to ensure proper installation Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed Coordinate with HVAC technicians and other trades on-site Work Environment Commercial construction site Indoor and outdoor work Physically demanding role including lifting, climbing, and working at heights What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($27–$33/hr based on experience) Opportunity for long-term work with a reputable contractor Well-managed, professional job sites Potential to continue on future projects after completion Requirements Requirements Minimum 3 years of HVAC pipefitting experience Strong experience with copper piping (brazing required) Ability to read and work from blueprints Experience on commercial or large residential projects Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in construction environments Reliable transportation and basic tools Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification EPA Certification Journeyman Pipefitter license Experience with chilled water or refrigerant systems
