Job Description

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Mechanical degree or significant HVAC systems experience
  • Experience on major construction projects in highly regulated sectors
  • Proven track record operating at Engineer or Senior Engineer level
  • Proficiency in Navisworks and strong Excel capability
  • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage configuration documentation effectively

✔️ Desired Skills

  • Nuclear sector experience
  • Familiarity with configuration management systems
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling principles
  • Experience in coordinating multi-discipline project teams

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver HVAC construction work packs, ensuring clarity and compliance with standards
  • Define and manage boundaries of scope for allocated works and documentation
  • Liaise with subject matter experts, contractors, and client counterparts to resolve queries
  • Review, update, and prioritise documentation to meet project deadlines
  • Ensure deliverables achieve >90% first-time acceptance rate through quality reviews
  • Contribute to planning and scheduling activities, providing feedback on resources and timelines
  • Identify constructability issues and coordinate surveys or temporary works solutions
  • Drive coordination across mechanical, electrical, and civil interfaces for seamless delivery
  • Support improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance project efficiency
  • Provide leadership within the pre-construction team and deputise for the Pre-Construction PM where require
