We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our established small business, serving clients from all sectors across the South East. This office-based role will require management of both commercial and domestic air conditioning and ventilation installations from survey to hand-over
They will be responsible for surveying and quoting new jobs, chasing sales leads, procurement, onsite management of engineers and ensuring Health & Safety legislations are adhered to.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ideal candidate will be F-Gas qualified and have previous hands-on experience of installing splits, multi splits and VRF systems on site and an excellent idea of how to deliver projects right first time. More recently they will have been responsible for surveying, tendering, chasing leads, negotiating prices with clients and suppliers as well as managing installation engineers to ensure projects are completed right first time and in budget.
Previous experience of working with and installing MVHR systems would be an advantage but not essential.
The candidate must come with a current CSCS card and have a proven history of overseeing Health & Safety requirements on site and consideration of this during quotation stage.
The candidate will be able to survey, design and specify their own systems from scratch and also prepare quotes from consultant specifications / technical drawings . The candidate will be numerate, able to ensure that projects are completed profitably and within agreed timeframes.
The candidate must be organised, keep good records and be punctual. They must be able to work effectively as part of the wider installation team. Excellent communication skills are a must.
The candidate will receive a car allowance and will work from our office based in West Malling, with site surveys / inspections and site attendance carried out throughout he South East when required. As we are a small business, the role will require a small degree of flexibility in supporting the Service Team during times of team absence / annual leave.
