  • With this position, our desire is to find an HVAC/R Account Executive in the west Texas region. We are specifically looking for an individual that lives in or around the Abilene, San Angelo, or the Midland/Odessa/Big Spring area.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The HVAC/R Account Executive will provide high quality customer relations with proficient skill in selling preventative maintenance agreements to a commercial and industrial client base.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years in B2B outside sales
  • A basic understanding of mechanical equipment
  • Completion of High School or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Criminal background check
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have the ability to stand for prolonged periods routinely, throughout the daily work schedule.
  • The English language is primary. Bi-lingual is a bonus.
  • Have the ability to walk around the job site, to business meetings, etc .
  • Have the ability to operate a computer and other industry specific productivity machinery, such as a calculator and telephone.
  • Have the ability to talk/hear/communicate with Cary Services office staff and/or customers by phone or in person, exchanging accurate information in these situations.
  • Have the ability to repeatedly lift irregularly shaped tools/hardware weighing 50 pounds, throughout the work day.
  • Have the ability to, from time to time, climb ladders and work on building roofs productively at heights of 50 feet.
  • Have the ability to work in extreme hot and cold conditions.
Responsibilities
  • Oversees the sales of the designated territory, with an emphasis on growth through the selling of HVAC/R preventive maintenance agreements to a commercial and industrial client base.
  • Retains existing accounts by maintaining relationships with decision makers and working with the service team to assure quality service.
  • Possesses or quickly gains a competent understanding of mechanical systems to effectively price and recommend services.
  • Effectively manages the credit and collections efforts of the territory with proper assessment of risk on new clients and follow up of existing.
  • Builds and maintains rapport and positive working relations with all internal staff to effectively manage the territory.
  • Follows good time management practices in order to accomplish annual sales goals.
  • Motivates and encourages the training of any and all subordinates and/or co-workers to improve skills and knowledge of all staff.
  • Assures compliance with company policies and procedures as well as those of our government.
